Publisher Upload Procedure
Palm Printing is committed to helping your company acheive its goal.
Please follow the following steps to collect your Publisher files to help us provide the best finished piece possible from your artwork.
1. Open the Publisher file
2. Click File -> Pack and Go -> Take to a Commercial Printing Service
3. Click Next
4. Click Browse
5. Select the location on your computer where Publisher will put the file for you to send us (i.e. your desktop) and then Click OK
6. Click Next
7. Make sure all three check boxes are checked and then click Next
8. Click Finish - once you do, Publisher will go through and gather up everything we need
9. Unless you plan to bring us a printout to go by, uncheck Print a composite proof and then click OK
10. On your computer, at the location you specified in steps 4-6 (i.e. Your desktop), you will now find three new files:
- Readme.txt - you can simply delete this file
- Unpack.exe - you can delete this file as well
- packed01.puz – this is the file we will need
If the file is approxiametly 10MB or smaller, you can e-mail it to your sales representative or our pre-press department. Please see our contact information below to contact us for those addresses if you need them.
If the file is larger than 10MB, please use our Upload Utility to send us the file. Once the upload completes, please contact us via e-mail or telephone so we know to collect the files. Thank you!
